Howling At The Moon
by: Walter Yetnikoff
A former boss of mine worked at Columbia Records during the time of Walter's rein (if you don't know, he was the CEO before Mattola). The way she described him was this... sex, drugs, and more drugs. A colorful character, I know of actresses that play male roles that use walter as a model. His time as heads of one of the largest record labels in the world came during the 70's when sex, booze, and drugs were the national passtime. But also during that time, he was involved with the signing of some of the biggest names in the business. He embodies the old saying "The brighter the light, the darker the shadow".
